Heavy Iron Chain is a serial assembly of connected pieces, called links, typically made of pure iron. It comes with an overall character similar to that of a rope in that it is flexible and curved in compression with a linear, rigid, and load-bearing tension. This chain may consist of two or more links. Heavy Iron Chain is the simplest type of iron chain that is made from straight metal bars that are bent to an oval shape, looped together and welded shut. These bars are traditionally made of wrought iron chains that are made of steel and have gained flavour in recent years.
